A little more about me...
I draw creativity from many aspects of life; from nature to busy streets, I am constantly observing and pulling in ideas for inspiration. Mostly, I am inspired by physical activity that balances strength and mindful movement that evokes self awareness. I believe tapping into our mind and body and moving in ways that serves our body, will promote higher feelings of love for ourselves. We all look and feel differently, so we will all move differently too, and that is magical.
I encourage everyone not just to “move” their bodies daily, but to adjust their lifestyles, hobbies and physical activities in a way that elevates their sense of pride for the beautiful, authentic life they are living.
Mindful movement and practicing self-care has inspired many positive changes for me. It is my hope that by sharing these practices with you, you will choose to trust your heart and use these tools to cultivate personal growth in your everyday life.
If I'm not practicing yoga or teaching classes, you can likely find me hiking with my husband, Curtis, cuddling my two dogs, working on a passion project, singing loudly to 90's music, sitting at my desk hammering away at marketing plans or business planning, or on a sunny day hanging in my eno-hammock with a book and coffee. I’m also a BIG fan of brunch!
Passion Project: Girl Power Yoga
Fortunately, I am surrounded by hard working people. Both men and women with a vision and a passion to work for a purpose. I strongly support women in achieving and overcoming their business goals of helping others. Women have so much to offer, we are a union of sisters who lead with our hearts and share our souls in hopes for a better tomorrow. Women inspire me and that inspriation encouraged me to inspire further generations. Together with my dear friend and business partner, Rachel, we co-founded a female owned mindful movement program for middle grade girls and students. Our passion and purpose is to teach girls/students to live a mindful lifestyle on, and most importantly, off their mats.
